Vocabulary is key to reading comprehension. As children learn to read more advanced texts, they must learn the meaning of new words that are not part of their oral vocabulary. To flourish their vocabulary, an activity based on the learning new words was conducted with the students of class 5th in which they were asked to pick a card from the box and spell the meaning of the word written over it.
